This Privacy Policy explains how FTV Player ("the app", "we") handles information when you use it. By using the app you agree to this policy.
FTV Player is a local video player. With your permission
(READ_MEDIA_VIDEO on Android 13+, or READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE on older
versions) the app reads video files stored on your device to list and play them.
Your videos never leave your device — they are not uploaded, copied, or shared
to us or any third party. Rename, delete and screenshot actions happen locally through the
Android MediaStore.
If you use the "Play Online" feature and enter a media URL, the app connects directly to the server you specify to stream that content. We do not store or transmit those URLs to our own servers.
The app uses Google Firebase to understand usage, improve stability, and run an in-app review prompt. These services may collect limited technical and usage data:

Analytics and crash data are retained per Google Firebase defaults. You can limit analytics by disabling the advertising ID in your device settings, or stop all collection by uninstalling the app.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
